Dr Kamil Ahmed – Dental Surgeon & Clinical Director

Dr. Kamil Ahmed is Clinical Director and the Principal dentist at Hermitage Clinic. He has a keen interest in providing General Dental, Cosmetic and Surgical Dental services. He graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Dentistry, King’s College London and completed his vocational training in the prestigious London Deanery. He takes real pride and pleasure in his work; along with a caring, ethical and patient centred approach he strives to make a difference to each and every person that he treats.
Dr. Ahmed has worked in both general dental practice as well as at the Royal London Dental Hospital providing emergency dental care for a number of years. He is a fully certified and licensed provider of a wide range of orthodontic treatments providing both fixed and removal cosmetic braces solutions including Invisalign and Six Months Smiles.
In 2010 he obtained his Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has completed various postgraduate dental courses including a one year certificate in advanced aesthetic and restorative dentistry, followed by a one year course in Oral Health and Disease, and then a year-long Oral Surgery course at the University of Bristol.
In 2013 he completed a Management course and has been awarded a diploma in postgraduate dental studies. In 2015 he won 2 awards for ‘Young Dentist of the Year (South)’ and ‘NATIONAL Young Dentist of the Year’ at the Dental Awards (NEC).
He is passionate about postgraduate education and held the role of Educational Supervisor for the London Deanery (Health Education England) for 4 years, providing support and training for young dentists. He has also been a mentor for training dental nurses to gain additional skills in prevention. He has a strong focus on delivering evidence based dentistry.
Dr Ahmed is a perfectionist by nature and enjoys taking the time to deliver a high standard of dental excellence. He firmly believes in a non-judgemental approach so is able to work successfully with patients who may be embarrassed about their smile to provide a solution that is best for each individual, at a pace that is comfortable for them.
While his love of dentistry keeps him extremely busy, he has a keen interest in photography and fitness as well as devoting much of his time away from the practice to his family.
Dr Jin Botani – Associate Dentist
MSc, MFDS RCS (Ed)
GDC No: 255489
Jin has a Masters degree in Dental Surgery and has more than 10 years of experience in general dental practice. Her area of interest is restorative dentistry including cosmetic treatments and Invisalign teeth straightening. Thanks to her calm and caring approach patients feel reassured and at ease.
She strives to keep abreast of new knowledge and techniques and continues to attend regular courses. Jin obtained The Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and is currently pursuing a masters in Restorative Dentistry at UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London.
Kristine – Dental Hygienist
GDC No: 257221
Kristine has over 15 years’ experience working in the dental industry. She started to work as a dental nurse and administrator becoming passionate about dentistry, which inspired her to further her education and become a dental hygienist in 2013. Kristine prides herself on her delicate approach and is sensitive towards nervous patients. In her spare time, Kristine loves running in the forest and has a great interest in healthy living, herbal, natural, holistic medicine.
Nina – Dental Nurse
GDC No: 276063
Nina qualified as a dental nurse through the National Examining Board of Dental Nurses (NEBDN) in 2018 and has a wide range of dental experience including dental implant nursing.
She is also responsible for monitoring the strict infection control procedures at the practice.
She is an enthusiastic and extremely valued member of the team. Her calming and friendly nature means she has built a great relationship with our patients during her time at the dental practice.
Nafissa – Trainee Dental Nurse
Nafissa is working towards her nursing qualification through the National Examining Board of Dental Nurses (NEBDN).
Nafissa’s key strengths are supporting our dentists in making sure treatments go to plan to provide exceptional service to all of our patients.
Georgia – Receptionist
Georgia will often be your first port of call and manage your patient paperwork and the administrative duties involved in the delivery and follow up of your treatments so that you can leave feeling fully prepared for your next planned appointment with us.
Georgia takes great pride in making sure patients are reassured and informed throughout their treatment journey with us.
